According to legend, this ship departed from the Isle of Wight in 1822 and later became frozen in the Drake Passage, a notoriously dangerous body of water between Argentina and Antarctica, in 1823.
In 1840, the whaling ship Hope allegedly discovered the ghost ship Jenny, as well as the preserved remains of the vessel’s crew.
